The Ebsen Quilts Legacy began years ago as both of my grandparents, my mother and a lot of my aunt’s sewed clothing and developed craft items. I grew up around this environment and fell in love with quilting and how it brought us all together as a family. 

I used to sew a lot of my own clothing in Junior High School. Later on in life when I got married and pregnant with my fist child I started sewing baby items and other items for my sons. Anything from clothing to diapers and baby blankets. Babies and Toddlers can never seem to have enough clothing and blankets.

Growing up my mom was either our Brownie Girl Scout leader or an assistant… so sewing and crafts were always something we were busy doing. We truly had a lot of fun and built comrade doing it. I still have a picture of me as a little girl sitting on my grandma's couch with her teaching me how to knit. Just seeing how very proud she was really helped fuel my desire to sew more and more. When I look back, I cherish that my now grown up kids still have their very first blankets from over 25 years ago. There is nothing better than seeing a little one wrapped up in a warm blanket with their favorite color or design on it.

I have truly never known anything more peaceful on earth than having a child fall asleep in your arms covered in a blanket that’s made especially for them.  I am sure you feel the same if you have ever experienced this joy.

I have a newspaper article written about me from my High school years stating that some day… I wanted to have my own Craft Store when I grow up. That being said, welcome to my passion here at Ebsen Quilts and Crafts. We really appreciate your business. We offer crafts, quilts, blankets and many more items are coming soon, like scrapbooks, etc.

It may be 40 years later that I finally grew up…. but my vision has become a reality and I feel very blessed by your patronage in sharing that vision and our great products with you. I hope our products bring you and your family as much joy as they have mine. There are many things we purchase in life that usually just a short time later loose their luster or outlive their usefulness and fade away. I know I can honestly say that I have never felt that way about blankets and quilts. Many of our products become timeless keepsakes that tell stories about you and your family for years to come. Many even transcend beyond our own years long after were gone and become part of our legacy. Please watch for our Legacy Collection.
